Two Satellites evolved from the musical collaborations of Chris Griffith and Aaron Columbus as an acoustic side project from their London based band Via Satellite. The project was conceived following a drunken jam over a large bottle of port and a shared taste in acoustic flavoured musings by artists like John Butler and Ben Harper. In between Via Satellite playing gigs and releasing a record, time was found for the project to grow. Songs were written, a random gig or two was played and then Chris announced he was moving to Canada for a lovely lady. Via Satellite came to end, Aaron formed Rogue Satellites in August of 2007 with Pete Duddles, Adam Bentley and Laura Scott, while Chris made the Canadian move. The Breakaway EP was recorded over a crazy and inspired three days in Aaron's living room in London prior to Chris' departure. It is a document of good times, good mates and good music.
